| About Us
Rosaly's Garden and farmstand are situated in the heart of the Monadnock region with dazzling views of Mount Monadnock. The charming open air Farmstand is always packed with vegetables, herbs, flowers and fruit picked fresh from our organic fields. The displays are pleasing and artful. Lots of specialty items not found in most other farmstands are available here.
The Farmstand is surrounded by an acre of U-Pick flowers. Rows upon rows of colorful flowers, more than 90 varieties of annuals and perennials, separated by wide grass pathways beckon you to follow in every direction. Each variety is labeled with an informative sign with the name, notes on its culture and the best way to pick it.
There are also three meditative and pleasing herb gardens, one laid out in a Sanscrit design with culinary and medicinal herbs, the second, an herbal tea garden and the third, a water garden featuring Chinese, ayurvedic and aromatherapeutic herbs. These gardens are U-Pick too.
Added to the list of U-Pick items are strawberries, raspberries and blueberries, when in season. Most perennial herbs are ready for picking, as are the annual herbs, flowers and raspberries.
Our berries are generally available for picking as follows:
Well placed benches and picnic tables make this a charming, restful and attractive place to come. Visitors are encouraged to walk around and enjoy the sights. Painters with their easels and people with cameras are welcome (from July 1 onward).
The Farmstand opens May 16, and is open every day from 9AM to 6PM. Columbus Day, October 13, is the last day of the season. We are located on Route 123, just south of Route 101 in Peterborough, New Hampshire. You can call the farmstand for more information about what is in season, etc, at (603) 924-7774. |
